Swiss canton capitals

Switzerland is a federal country, made up by 26 cantons (six of which are known as semi-cantons); each canton or semi-canton is in fact a state, with its own capital. Bern is rather called the federal city than the capital of the confederation.

Do you know all Swiss canton capitals? Some are easy, some are not. For each canton, we propose an image (which is not Panerai Radiomir Watches necessarily a hint about its capital).

The use of this web page is twofold: you can either test your present knowledge about the issue at stake (by maybe studying a little bit beforewards), or learn swiss replica watches something new. The order of cantons is established by the Swiss federal constitution, art. 1:

The People and the Cantons of Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden and Nidwalden, Glarus, Zug, Fribourg, Solothurn, Basel Stadt and Basel Landschaft, Schaffhausen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Appenzell Innerrhoden, St. Gallen, Graubünden, Aargau, Thurgau, Ticino, Vaud, Valais, Neuchtel, Geneva, and Jura form the Swiss Confederation.
